Scored 28 Sn in Floating Chairs - We were comfortable lying on the chairs. When the chairs were pulled away, our abs started to ache. We motivated each other until the end. Finally, the weak link broke loose, and we all fell to the ground.
""Yakup said" game. A kind of "Simon said" game. There's also the Ashure game, a Turkish tradition. We give the names of the legumes like beans, chickpeas, wheat, millet, grapes, hazelnuts, and pistachios, as well as sugar, to the tribes and create recipes. When the name is read, the people collapse and stand up."

My blanket square represents my journey in Scouting so far. Each color and stitch symbolizes a different skill I’ve learned, a challenge I’ve overcome, or a moment with my patrol. By combining all the squares, it creates a patchwork of memories, values, and achievements—just like how every Scout contributes to the bigger picture of the movement.
"I wanted my pattern to reflect who I am as a Scout and what I value most. I thought about the skills I’ve learned, the experiences I’ve had, and the colors and shapes that felt meaningful. I tried to make it both personal and something that would fit well with other Scouts’ squares to create a bigger story."
My Scout scarf is more than just a piece of cloth—it’s a symbol of friendship, adventure, and responsibility. Every fold and color reminds me of the camps I’ve attended, the challenges I’ve overcome, and the bonds I’ve built with my patrol and fellow Scouts. Wearing it makes me feel connected to Scouts around the world, part of a community that shares values of service, courage, and respect for nature.”

"My scarf is more than just a piece of cloth—it represents all my Scouting experiences, the lessons I’ve learned, and the friendships I’ve made along the way. Every time I wear it, I feel connected to my patrol, my troop, and Scouts all over the world. It reminds me that even small actions, like helping someone or learning something new, are part of a bigger global movement."

The Meaning of the Neckerchief for Vietnamese Rover Scouts In the Scouting movement, the neckerchief is far more than a piece of uniform — it is a living symbol of spirit, service, and brotherhood. For Vietnamese Rover Scouts, the neckerchief represents maturity, responsibility, and the noble promise to serve others with a joyful heart. Wearing the Rover neckerchief marks a turning point in a Scout’s journey. It signifies that one has grown from learning and following to leading and serving. Each fold of the neckerchief reminds the Rover of the Scout Law and Promise — to live honestly, to be prepared, and to dedicate one’s abilities to the good of others. The act of putting on the neckerchief each morning is also a quiet renewal of that promise. The color of the Rover neckerchief often carries a deeper meaning. Darker tones express steadiness, wisdom, and commitment — the qualities of a Scout who has learned to stand firm and help others find their way. It is also a unifying symbol, connecting Rovers across different regions and generations under the same spirit of brotherhood. Through this simple piece of cloth, Scouts recognize one another, share a sense of belonging, and remember that they are part of a larger purpose. To a Rover Scout, the neckerchief is not something to be given lightly or worn for show. It must be earned — through growth, service, and dedication. Once received, it becomes a badge of honor, reminding the wearer to uphold the reputation of Scouting with every action and word. The neckerchief ties together not just the Scout’s uniform, but also their ideals, discipline, and heart. In essence, the neckerchief of a Vietnamese Rover Scout embodies the journey of becoming a true servant-leader one who is self-reliant, compassionate, and ever ready to help. It is a symbol of the Scout’s lifelong commitment to live meaningfully, to serve faithfully, and to always strive to become better than yesterday.

"I am a Rover Scout from Vietnam, a proud member of the Nguyễn Trãi Scout Group of Gia Định Area. To me, the neckerchief is more than a symbol; it is a part of my identity. Each time I wear it, I feel the weight of honor, discipline, and the legacy of generations of Scouts who came before me. It reminds me to live with kindness, to stay humble, and to be ready to serve whenever my community needs me. The neckerchief connects me to my fellow Rovers not only in Vietnam but around the world. It reminds me that even though we come from different places, we share the same values: brotherhood, service, and the courage to do what is right. For me, wearing the Rover neckerchief means carrying the pride of my country, the trust of my team, and the promise to keep the Scouting spirit alive wherever I go."
Here's what I'd like to ask the volunteers at the World Scout Centre: Beyond the beautiful location, what is the single most heartwarming or memorable interaction you've had with a visiting Scout that reminded you why you chose to volunteer? What is a "day in the life" of a Pinkie really like? What's the most challenging part of the job that most people don't see? How has your time as a Pinkie changed your personal perspective on the global Scouting movement compared to what you knew from your time in your home troop? What is the most valuable skill (whether it's a practical skill like climbing or a soft skill like conflict resolution) that you've learned during your service? What advice would you give to a Scout from a country like Vietnam, who is active in their local troop and dreams of one day joining the Pinkie team?
"Based on my experiences, especially after an event like JOTA-JOTI, several things would make me strongly consider becoming a Pinkie. First, the JOTA-JOTI experience makes the idea of "World Brotherhood" feel incredibly real and tangible. Being a Pinkie seems like the ultimate way to live that idea every single day, not just for one weekend. I love organizing activities for my own units, Liên đoàn Nguyễn Trãi and Châu Gia Định, like our Mid-Autumn Festival camps. The thought of taking that passion and helping to create that "permanent mini-Jamboree" experience for Scouts from all over the world is incredibly inspiring. I would also be motivated by the chance to learn. I want to meet people from different cultures, see how they practice Scouting, and learn new skills that I could one day bring back to my Scout community here in Vietnam. The idea of representing my country and my troop on that global stage, while also serving the worldwide movement, would be a huge honor."

What has been your most memorable or heartwarming moment while volunteering as part of the World Scout Centre — a moment that reminded you why you chose to be here?

"What would make me consider becoming a Pinkie… The desire to be part of something bigger than myself – contributing to a place where young people from around the world gather, connect, and grow together. A passion for hospitality and service – creating unforgettable experiences for every person who walks through the doors of the World Scout Centre. The chance to learn from others – being exposed to different cultures, stories, and perspectives, and growing personally through those interactions. The belief that Scouting can change the world – as a Pinkie, you become an active part of that mission. It’s more than just volunteering — it’s a human adventure, a unique opportunity to serve, to smile, and to build bridges."
