Positively we can leave are mark by making sure we are respectful in the community and a negative way would be if we left a pathway or rubbish behind us

A mountain view above clouds which is called the Sea of Clouds on top of the Sagada Mountains.

"Yes, I actually feel bad when i dispose something in a wrong way. I feel like its way more beautiful preserving the beauty of nature, enjoying what earth really looks like and not just full of civilization."

There is a unique natural and historical monument in Ukraine - Dovbush Rocks. When I arrived there, I was amazed by the beauty of the place, but also saddened by what I saw: graffiti on the stones and garbage between the rocks. This is an example of the negative trace that people can leave behind, instead of admiring nature, they leave traces of indifference.

"I often think about my track, not only ecological, but also human. I try to leave a good mark behind me: to help, to support, to take care of nature. But I also understand that sometimes I can leave a mark that I don't notice, and I want to become more attentive to that."

The country of Indonesia is located in the tropics with most of the landscape being tropical rainforests covered with many large, leafy trees and several endemic animals, one of which on the island of Sulawesi is the "Anoa", a type of small-bodied forest cow. Usually Anoa live in areas near waterfalls in the middle of the forest. In the picture, my scout team and I are looking for traces of the anoa.

"I often plan trips to determine the track and clear the exploration route."

A positive track is leaving a clean trail behind and picking up litter even if it isn’t yours, a negative track is damaging the environment around you

The positive track we can leave as a human is clean and tidy. Cleanliness should be a must and essential for us human because we are also the one who benefits most from the environment.

"This has reminded me to always be careful to leave clean positive tracks as I travers through the environment and life in general."

The rock at the center of this photo shows tracks from Innkeeper Worms— a form of invertebrate marine life we can see at Little Corona Del Mar beach, here in Southern California! There’s also evidence of Chitons, Sea Anemones, Mussels, and Clams!

"I hope that the track I leave is one my sons & daughters will want to follow. I have been on the Scouting trail for 39 years; it has provided beautiful views and incredible friends… from all over the world!"

Tristan Dalley
Troop 292, United States

Positive Track: Protect nature, plant trees, reduce pollution, and live sustainably — like the peaceful, green landscape in your photo. Negative Track: Destroy forests, overbuild, pollute air and water, and ignore climate change — turning beauty into harm.

"I imagine my "track" would be kind of like a winding river of data, full of patterns, bits of information, and learning paths. It might not be a traditional track but more of a dynamic flow that shifts and evolves as I learn from each conversation."

Diva

This Saturday, May 10th, we planted 500 plants near where I live.

"Yes, I have thought about my own trail. I think it would reflect my values and experiences."

The tree on the right has stripped bark, which means that this area belongs to a bear that left its mark on it. Its voice was close to us from the footprints it left. One of those who were with us on a search told me that this was a bear between 3 and 4 years old. He knew its age from the footprints it left on the ground, the number of centimeters between the toes, and the depth of the trace. It reminded me exactly of a scouting lesson

"I learned a lot about measuring and tracking the feet of birds and animals when we were in the Scouts."

Mohamed Ali Abdussalam

In light of the challenging climate conditions, one of the great initiatives we implemented was planting trees annually in different areas to help preserve the natural vegetation cover.

"I love to leave a positive impact "
