"JOTI 2025 began with a spirit of togetherness and joy, emphasizing that making others happy also brings happiness to ourselves. The event opened with an interactive bingo game that encouraged participants to pay close attention to the opening ceremony. Messages from global Scout leaders such as Pani from KISC, Joshua, Elise, and Jeremy highlighted the importance of international friendship, adventure, challenges, and life at the heart of Scouting. Throughout the week, participants are invited to join various activities, collect badges, and contribute to events like the international campfire. Online safety is also a top priority, with a focus on ethics, protecting personal data, and mutual respect among participants. This event is designed to unite Scouts from around the world in a fun, educational environment that fosters lasting friendships."

"In the context of an event focused on dialogue—like a cultural exchange, leadership seminar, or international gathering—I’d look forward to: Genuine connection and perspective-sharing. Events like these are unique opportunities to hear diverse life stories, challenge assumptions, and co-create understanding across cultures or viewpoints. The richness lies in what’s uncovered between the lines: shared values, surprising insights, and the quiet transformation that happens when people truly listen to each other."
